David Sheffer Scholarship

The David Sheffer Scholarship was established in 2025. David was a student at the Burlington Area School District and, upon his high school graduation, served as a custodian from 1976 until 2005. 


David’s involvement with Burlington High School athletics began in high school, when he took on the role of team manager - a position he would hold for numerous sports programs, including football, basketball, and baseball.


To commemorate his 100th season as a BHS team manager, David helped establish the David Sheffer Scholarship, which is awarded to two deserving student-athletes each year.
